First Citizens Announces New Additions to Atlanta Leadership Team

Atlanta, Ga. – First Citizens today announced the addition of Kelly Meyer and Jack Morris to the bank’s Atlanta Metro Division leadership team. The bank also announced that Peter Lindeman, who previously served as the bank’s Cash Management Director and interim Private Banking Group Director for the Atlanta Metro Division, will assume the full-time responsibilities of the Atlanta Metro Division Private Banking Group Director and will be responsible for all of the bank’s Merchant Services. He will continue to report directly to Drew Putt, First Citizens Executive Vice President and Georgia Division Executive.

Meyer joins First Citizens as Retail Market Executive, overseeing all five of First Citizens’ Atlanta offices and reporting to Putt. A 14-year banking veteran, she most recently served as Vice President and Consumer Market Executive at Bank of America. In this role, she was responsible for the growth, retention and profitability of the bank’s Northeast Atlanta market, which includes more than 35 branches. Prior to her role at Bank of America, Meyer spent 10 years at Wachovia and held several leadership positions, including Financial Sales Leader, Service Leader and Acquisition Banking Director.

Meyer received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwood University in Lansing, Mich., and her master’s degree in administration from Central Michigan University, also in Lansing. She currently serves as a member of the Atlanta chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Morris joins First Citizens as Commercial Market Executive for the bank’s Atlanta Metro Division, reporting to Putt. He joins First Citizens from Regions Bank in Atlanta. While at Regions Bank, Morris was responsible for leading and coaching a team in the company’s Cobb County market, focusing on companies with revenues between $5 and $250 million. Prior his role at Regions Bank, Morris held various leadership positions at Wachovia.

Morris received his bachelor’s degree in business management from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and his MBA from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. An active member of the community, Morris is a graduate of Leadership Bartow County, former President of the Rotary Club of West Cobb, and a past board member of the Bartow County Chamber of Commerce.

“Peter, Kelly and Jack all possess unique leadership qualities that have served them well in their extensive and successful banking careers,” said Putt. “They each have proven track records of driving sales, service and operational excellence, and I feel fortunate to have them as members of my leadership team. Their experience and professional candor will be an asset as we position ourselves for future growth in the greater Atlanta community.”
