First Citizens receives Large Lender of the Year award from S.C. State Housing Finance and Development Authority

Columbia, S.C., January 30, 2007 – First Citizens has been recognized as the 2006 Large Lender of the Year from the South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority.

This is the first time First Citizens has won this award and is a recognition of First Citizens’ commitment to the community it serves. Partnering with the S.C. State Housing Finance and Development Authority, First Citizens funded $7,984,984 in loans to first time homebuyers in 2006. First Citizens was also a leader in hosting first time homebuyer seminars and held a first-time homebuyer promotion at all First Citizens branches in South Carolina.
