First Citizens Bancorporation, Inc. ("Bancorporation")(OTCBB: FCBN), is a two-bank financial holding company headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina. Its primary subsidiaries are First Citizens Bank and Trust Company, Inc. ("First Citizens") and The Exchange Bank of South Carolina, Inc. ("Exchange Bank"). First Citizens offers services in commercial and retail banking through more than 160 offices throughout South Carolina and eastern Georgia. Exchange Bank provides banking services through four branches in Williamsburg and Georgetown counties in South Carolina.

On January 12, 2006, the shareholders of Bancorporation approved, and Bancorporation consummated, a plan of reorganization enabling Bancorporation to terminate its reporting obligations with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC").
